Simple walnut Christmas cake recipe


Ingredients:

* 1/2 cup butter
* 4 large eggs
* 2 cups all purpose flour
* 1 cup sugar
* 3/4 teaspoon salt
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 2 teaspoons baking powder
* 1/2 cup milk
* 1 cup walnut chopped

Directions:

Beat butter and sugar until creamy and fluffy. Add eggs, vanilla, salt, baking powder and milk. Mix well. Now add flour and beat until well mixed. Stir in 1 cup of chopped walnuts. Pour batter into an oiled and floured 9x5 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes or until a knife comes out clean. Cool on wire rack. Top with your favorite icing.
